Founder & Principal Agent
Rod has been working within the insurance industry as a licensed insurance agent since 2013. In 2019, he decided to pivot and grow a family-centered independent insurance agency. With over 10 years of experience, Rod specializes in helping clients find the right coverage for their life, home, and auto needs as he is known for his honest guidance and personal approach.
Rod is originally from Oakland, CA and completed his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Virginia Union University. Rod is proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and is actively involved within his community. Rod and his wife Felicia currently live in Metro Atlanta. They are the proud parents of Sydney and Rodney Mudd.
Office Manager
Linda – AKA “Auntie Linda” – is the heart of our day-to-day operations and keeps The Mudd Family Agency running smoothly. With a passion for helping others, she ensures our clients receive fast, friendly, and reliable service.
Linda is originally from Midland, Texas and relocated to Georgia with her family. A happily retired professional, she came out of retirement to support the family business.

Sydney was born and raised in Georgia. She attended and earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in industrial engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. After graduating, she decided to join the family insurance practice to optimize and grow the business.
